On campus with your child

If you bring your child onto campus, you can make use of a number of family-friendly services provided by the universities.

Giessen Student Services has created its own family-friendly infrastructure in its administrative and catering facilities, and an overview of this is provided below.

Nappy-changing facilities

• Student Services Administration Building, Otto-Behaghel-Strasse 23, ground floor (ladies WC)
• "Studentenhaus" next to the large refectory, Otto-Behaghel Str. 25, ground floor (wheelchair-accessible WC)
• in all refectories and cafeterias of Giessen Student Services

Play areas

• JLU: Large refectory, Otto-Behaghel-Strasse 27, near the salad bar
• JLU: Cafeteria Philosophikum I
• Fulda University of Applied Sciences: Refectory, Marquardstrasse 47

High chairs, plates and cutlery for children

• sufficient high chairs and special plates and cutlery for children are available in all refectories and cafeterias
• in the large refectory in Otto-Behaghel-Strasse 27 tray trolleys which can carry up to three trays are also available
