Family Service Office
"Am I going to be able to do everything?", "Can I meet my child.s needs and the demands of the course?", "Help, I am pregnant - do I have to give up my studies now?", "My partner and I have separated, what are my child and I going to do now on our own?" - these or similar questions may crop up when studying with a child and play on the mind of those concerned.
The Family Service Office will be pleased to help you resolve your personal issues and will provide you with confidential and free advice during open office hours or by appointment.
Expectant parents and students or prospective students with a child are given detailed information, important tips and help on topics such as child care, financial assistance, accommodation and organisation of studies.
Social Advice Office
The staff of the Social Advice Office help all students in matters relating to their studies, especially in times of personal or financial conflict and upheaval.
It also gives advice to students in need of special advice, such as new students, international students or students with chronic diseases or disabilities.
The advice is free and confidential and is committed to the principle of capacity building.
