Childcare

To be able to successfully plan and complete their studies, student parents need a range of reliable childcare options for their children. Alongside municipal and district childcare, the Giessen Student Services / Studentenwerk Gießen A.d.ö.R. run their two own facilities where your child can be looked after. At various facilities the Universities have reserved places exclusively for the children of students. Enquire as early as possible and arrange for a personal consultation.

The cost of a crèche, day nursery, after-school care or childminder may be covered either wholly or in part by the Youth Welfare Office. Click here for more information.
